Mood -- Calm Back home for the summer in the UK now, I arrived last Thursday. It was a pretty damn successful first year at college in Canada, I have to admit - I scored a final GPA of 3.85, something I never ever managed before in my life.. (because we don't have that grading system back in the UK). I also made the Honour Roll, which was cool because our state schools don't have that system in the UK either! My first year results appear something like this:

GPA 3.75 Cumulative GPA 3.85 I'm proud of my academic achievements there.. that's some serious business! On the personal side I met one cool-ass Canadian guy, Ryan, and he and I have been together for the past 7 months. He's one of the reasons I didn't lose my mind quite as much as I could have done, being out there by myself and such. This summer's going to be interesting being apart but I'm not worried - we the shiz! Plus, it makes leaving here again all the easier.. A lot easier. Just looking forward to catching up with my friends, getting some money together etc. before heading back mid-August. I won't be back for longer than 2 weeks for a few years after this summer so I got to make the best of it!
